How AI Market Research Works
A step-by-step look at how AI-powered market research is gathered, structured and reviewed before it reaches you.
Step one: defining the question
Good market research starts with a specific question, not a general topic. 'Tell me about the coffee industry' produces a vague report. 'Who are the main competitors for a specialty coffee subscription service in Morocco, and what do they charge' produces a useful one.
Step two: gathering information
From there, AI-powered research tools gather information from public sources — company websites, news coverage, public filings and industry publications — much faster than manual research, while still needing the same care about which sources are trustworthy.
Step three: structuring the findings
Raw information isn't a report. The gathered material gets organized into a clear structure: market overview, competitor comparison, opportunities and risks, so the reader can act on it without doing their own synthesis first.
Step four: human review
Before delivery, a person reviews the report for accuracy, checks that sources are correctly cited, and flags anything uncertain. This step is what separates a usable business report from an unverified AI output.
